Lizard Island Resort is proud to announce two remarkable accolades: the coveted MICHELIN Three-Key distinction and recognition as the #1 Resort in Australia & the Pacific in Condé Nast Traveler’s 2025 Readers’ Choice Awards, solidifying its position among the world’s most exceptional luxury destinations.

For the first time, MICHELIN has unveiled its prestigious Keys distinction across Oceania, recognising standout hotels for their exceptional service, design, and overall guest experience. Among 63 properties honoured across Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and French Polynesia, Lizard Island Resort was the only Australian property to receive the coveted Three Key distinction – the highest honor awarded. The MICHELIN Keys celebrate hotels that elevate the art of hospitality, from secluded island escapes to design-forward coastal retreats.

Adding to this momentous achievement, Lizard Island Resort has been named the #1 Resort in Australia & the Pacific in the Condé Nast Traveler 2025 Readers’ Choice Awards. The honor is particularly significant given the scale of participation, as more than 750,000 readers shared their travel insights and recommendations, spotlighting the world’s most exceptional hotels, islands, and experiences.
