The Pavilion

The Pavilion sits atop a soaring ridge commanding panoramic ocean views. Glass sliding doors opening onto a majestic wrap around deck create a sense of being “as one” with the outdoors. The separate bedroom is spacious and airy with its interior of neutral tones and natural fabrics and doors that open onto the deck. An adjacent bathroom is luxurious with a deep, standalone bath and separate shower. The lounge is fully integrated into the outdoor deck through sliding doors. A small kitchenette and bay window with bench and high stools is the perfect location for enjoying a morning cup of tea and the ocean views. Stepping down from the deck and taking a private pathway, you arrive at the Pavilion’s gazebo and private plunge pool. The Pavilion has been designed as the ultimate in privacy for just two people, who will quickly come to feel that they are the only two people in the world. Bedding includes a King Bed. Maximum of 3 people including use of a Rollaway bed. The Pavilion is 139 square metres.

Our first trip to Lizard Island and it was fabulous; it has to be one of our all-time favourite escapes! Just to be able to walk out and snorkel to your heart's content in the most pristine waters at the best temperature. The entire staff could not be more accommodating, willing to help, very professional and making you feel like the most valued visitor. - Linda, Australia, travelled as a couple

A little bit of heaven on earth! Outstanding and total bliss! We just returned from an absolutely wonderful stay on Lizard Island and I can't say enough great things about this spectacular, unique, luxurious and seamlessly operated resort amidst the Great Barrier Reef. The island is the only inhabitable island on the Great Barrier Reef and one can only get there on the small plane that offers amazing birds-eye views of hundreds of miles of the reefs amidst the Coral Sea. From the moment you arrive on the island, the service is impeccable and the staff is incredibly friendly, professional, knowledgeable and attentive to any need you have… - Stacey, United States, travelled as a family

Amazing service. We stayed four nights, the first week of March. We were treated like royalty from the time we arrived on the island until we arrived back in Cairns. We had a villa which was very comfortable and had incredible views. Special dinner for two on the beach is a must for couples. Very romantic and outstanding food. Very nice dive boat so don't miss out on the diving trips they offer. - Robert, travelled as a couple

If you are looking for the most friendly, comfortable, and exquisite place to relax, this is it! Sand, sun, snorkel, dive, boat, paddle board, hike, relax. It’s all here! The spa was awesome with Beck, best pedicure ever. Ava was awesome on the beach, Magic was totally chill and helpful. The whole crew on the dive boat was awesome. The cabins on the beach are amazing. But the food, and diversity of menus was off the chart. Wine pairings to match. - Tom

Relaxed and casually elegant. The Diving and snorkelling was magical. Special call out to Dive instructors Sandra and Liam and Captains Brutus and Harry and Chris. Memorable dining, gorgeous accommodation. The degustation experience on our final night was exceptional. We loved this place and the staff and will be back. Thank you all for rescuing us from the year that was 2020! - Pete & Kim
