Discover Scuba Diving
Designed for those with no prior experience who want a taste of diving without committing to a full course. Undertake a classroom session, have your dive equipment professionally fitted and enjoy a supervised shore dive with a qualified instructor.
If you have not recently dived (we recommend 12 months or more), complimentary refresher courses are available on the beach, before you head out for your first dive.
Your Refresher Dive instruction is complimentary.
Referral Dive Courses
The PADI referral course is for those of you who have completed all theory and practical application for diving. Participants are required stay at the resort for a minimum of 4 nights, must supply two passport sized photos, a referral statement and an Australian Medical Certificate (AS4005.1) signed by a specialist dive practitioner.
It is essential that you confirm your Referral Dive course prior to arrival on Lizard Island – and please note that the course does not include the cost of vessels to take you out diving.
No Diving 24 hours Before FlyingPlease be advised that safety regulations require that divers are not permitted to fly for a minimum of 24 hours after their last dive. As most guests will fly to and from the island, this is critical for your planning.
Minimum age and medical conditions apply for dive courses.
