The Marlin Bar is the only public bar on the island and has welcomed many seafaring visitors, off-duty staff and Island guests since 1975. Open on Tuesdays and Fridays from 5pm and into the evening with a weekly changing menu.

Take part in your own Gin Tasting Masterclass with Wolf Lane Tropical Gin with your very own bottle of signature Lizard Island gin to take home.
Wolf Lane Tropical Gin features botanicals sourced from the region’s Atherton Tablelands along with tropical fruit flavours like grapefruit, lime and mango, and is best served over ice with soda and a garnish of grapefruit. Wolf Lane gin flight tastings are a popular sunset pastime at the Driftwood Bar and feature three of the distillery’s spirits, Tropical Gin, Navy Strength Gin and Davidson Plum Gin.
Sam Kennis who co-owns Wolf Lane Distillery in Cairns said the small batch distilled Tropical Gin was crafted in partnership with the food and beverage team at Lizard Island with the idea of creating a tropical style gin that was refreshing and unique to Tropical North Queensland.
Guests also have the opportunity to take home their very own bottle of signature Lizard Island gin.

Delicious gourmet picnics on your own private beach are hard to surpass. Order forms can be obtained from the Restaurant, Beach Club or Reception.
Please present the completed form to Restaurant staff, our Activities Representative or Reception before 8:00pm the night before your planned excursion.
Your personalised picnic will be waiting for you at the Beach Club by the specified time.
