Please collect your snorkelling equipment from the Beach Club prior to the lesson. Refer to your activities guide for daily times.

Snorkelling Lessons

A 30-minute complimentary snorkelling lesson is available, please enquire at the Beach Club for available times. Your mask, snorkel and fins can be borrowed from the Beach Club and used for the duration of your stay.

Local Snorkels

Join your in-water guide for an introduction to marine life tour at one of our many dazzling locations around Lizard Island.

Guided Beach Snorkel

Under the supervision of our qualified guide, you’ll discover amazing fish, coral and other marine creatures that thrive just metres below the surface. This activity is suitable for beginners and experienced snorkelers. Beginners are recommended to participate in the ‘Introduction to Snorkelling’ prior to joining this activity.

Self Guided Beach Snorkelling

There is an abundance of reef snorkelling in Anchor Bay, in front of the Resort, as well as at Sunset Beach and Watson’s Bay where large concentrations of giant clams can be viewed, both within short walking distance from the Resort.

Ribbon Reef Snorkelling

Led by experienced guides offering interpretation and safety, snorkel trips are the ideal way to experience the amazing fish and coral of the Great Barrier Reef. Half day and full day trips are available, travelling to sites equally accessible to snorkelers as well as divers.
